Strengthen capacity of CSOs in Georgia and Ukraine to contribute to the policy dialogue on Social Service Delivery

The Ukrainian Center for Independent Political Research (UCIPR) in partnership with Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund Deutschland e.V. (ASB) and Georgian Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia (CSRDG) is working to increase the role of civil society organisations (CSO) in contributing meaningfully to the social development of Georgia and Ukraine.

Implementation period

2015-2017

Main project objective

The main objective of the sub granting scheme is to engage local governments on building PPSP with concerned CSOs on social service delivery.

The main activities during the project

- Trainings on public participation in decision-making for service-providing CSOs.
- Trainings on organizational development for 15 CSOs.
- Sub grant for 20 joint projects of CSOs and local governments on social service delivery.
- Advocacy of successful practices concerning involvement of CSOs in providing social services at the local level.

Target organizations

Local non governmental organizations in target regions that directly provide social services to people with disabilities, the elderly and internally displaced persons.

Target regions in Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Lviv, Cherkasy, Chernihyv, Zaporizhzhya regions
