The Ukrainian Center for Independent Political Research (UCIPR) with the support of the MATRA program of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands is conducting the project "Assessment of parliamentary elections through the prism of human rights".
Our goal is to draw public attention to human rights as the denominator of all social processes. To achieve the ambitious goal, within the framework of the project, it is planned to organize a network of like-minded people who would act together and promote the topic of human rights, equality, and diversity for the public. Members of the network are active young people, representatives of various public organizations that defend the rights of key groups (IDPs, minorities, people with disabilities, LGBTQ+, young women, etc.) and/or are among them themselves.
In addition, for networking and educational purposes, UCIPR conducts an intensive two-day human rights camp. In two days, participants from different parts of Ukraine and with different backgrounds should get to know each other, make friends, and jointly try to create an advocacy campaign, thus strengthening their knowledge in the field of human rights.
The prepared materials can be used by the experts of the UCIPR for future cooperation with the authorities - with the newly elected parliament and government.
